It's actually Outlook for Mac 15.32, not '2016', though I don't know if it's commonly called 2016 or not.
Recently we've started to have an issue where Mac Outlook 2016 users will delete emails on their computer-and the email will move to the Deleted Items folder-but if you were to use your phone or webmail to view the email it's still shown in the Inbox as unread (this is true on phone using both iOS Mail client and the official MS Outlook iOS app).ĪFAIK this isn't a sync or IMAP issue, and I have tried specifically performing 'Synchronize Now' directly on the Deleted Items folder on my computer, but the mail is still left in the Inbox at phone and webmail.Įssentially what this means that you go off and clean up emails on your computer, then must go delete them again at your phone or webmail to make them truly go away, it's a nuisance I have lived with myself but now other users are starting to ask if there is some solution, I'm hoping someone else has run into this?
